Position Description

• Student Ambassadors are currently enrolled Skyline College students who welcome all to provide counseling assistance & help students access the services provided across various student services on campus. These student ambassadors work directly under the Office Assistant ll, Program Services Coordinator and Division Assistant for Counseling. This position is ideal for students who can work effectively in a high-responsibility position both individually and as part of a team of classified staff and faculty.Job Duties: – Ability to effectively communicate to students about the many opportunities and benefits of enrolling at Skyline College – Take initiative to be knowledgeable about the college programs –

  Assist in the campus events as assigned by our department –
  Assist with emails & voicemails –
  Assist with application assistance –
  Assist with assigned projects as needed – Outreaching Campaigns to students

Requirements

• Skyline College student in good academic standing enrolled in 6.0 units or more each semester
• Available to work 15-20 hours a week with flexibility to support some evening hours for closing shift
• This is a Federal Work Study position and applicants must be eligible.
