Position Description
- Being part of our Open Lab program in the Fab Lab.
- Operating Fab Lab equipment, like laser cutter, 3D printer.
- Assisting students using the Fab Lab equipment and help them with their projects.
- Interact with students and instructors to determine their needs.
- Organizing tools, supplies and lab equipment and assist in maintaining a clean lab and work environment.
- Support the instructional labs for Physics and Engineering, set up lab equipment for instructions and remove after class.
- Report broken and missing equipment, performing minor repairs.
Requirements
- Punctual and reliable
- Good communication skills
- Work independently
- Ability to lift and move lab equipment
- Help and assist with students and faculty.
- Willing to learn new things and be part of a team.
- This is a Federal Work Study position and applicants must be eligible.
