Student Assistant: Center for Student Life & Leadership Development Office

Position Description We are looking for personable students interested in joining a professional working environment to help us with our day-to-day operations. Students must be enrolled for this Fall and next Spring semester. You can work up to 20 hours at our office between Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4PM.
Main responsibilities of the Student Assistant are (but not limited to):

  • Providing support to other students, staff, faculty & community members with their questions at the front desk
  • Printing student I.D. cards & reaching out to students for student card pick up
  • Helping the student government (ASSC) in making sure their events are organized & successful
  • Maintaining office paperwork
  • Representing the Student Life Office in small professional presentations
  • Supporting the Student Life office with the Commencement Ceremony at the end of May 2025
Requirements Desired Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled for this Fall and next Spring semester
  • Organized
  • Good reading and writing skills
  • Clear communication skills

You will be trained closely by Alvin & Ryan who will work with you to pass on knowledge of student advocacy, student equity & student professionalism. Although this position will demand much of your efforts, it is rewarding & can be fun too.
